DIY rosettes might be just the fix you need! Read on to find out how to make these eye-popping decorations!
How to make DIY Rosettes:
What You’ll Need:
- 9 inches x 24 inches or larger sheet of paper (can be wrapping paper, newspaper, construction paper, etc.)
- Fishing Line or String
- Glue Stick or Double-sided Tape
- Pair of Scissors
If your paper is not already 9 inch x 24 inch, cut it to this size.
Begin folding your paper (on the shorter side) in accordion-style folds, 1 inch wide.
Cut any excess off the ends if you need to, to ensure they are all even and run straight across.
Cut a few inches of fishing line (we did 9 so we tying a knot was easier). Wrap it around the middle of the strip of folded paper and tie a knot to secure.
Cut off the extra fishing line on the ends.
Fan out the ends and begin to apply your glue stick or double-sided tape to secure the ends together.
You can punch holes in the top and hang these little beauties on the wall or ceiling as party decorations or if your festivities are outside, you can hang them from tree branches!
