Graphique Gives Back: National Eating Disorders Association
NYC & Chicago NEDA Walks
The National Eating Disorders Association is a non-profit organization that supports families and individuals affected by eating disorders. Their mission is to raise awareness about the dangers surrounding eating disorders and the need for early intervention and treatment. By participating in NEDA walks in major cities across the country, walkers help to raise money and show their support for those in need.
The NYC NEDA walk took place on Sunday, October 2nd in Manhattan where 1200+ walkers have raised over $130,000 with donations still being accepted until November 2nd. The Chicago NEDA walk took place on Saturday, October 22nd in Diversary Harbor where over $38,000 has been raised surpassing their goal of $35,000, while donations are still coming in through November 11th.
Graphique donated over 1,500 greeting cards filled with positive messages and words of encouragement and became the sponsor of the Cards For Recovery Table at both the NYC and Chicago NEDA walks. Here, walkers could write brief motivational messages to those in need, which would later be distributed to local treatment centers across the two cities. We believe in spreading positivity through your lifestyle, which is why we design everything from journals and pens, to wall art and party napkins with inspirational messages and fun patterns and colors. The power of kind words from a friend, or even a stranger, can have a huge impact on someone’s mood and even turn their entire day around! There is something so special about receiving a sweet handwritten message in a beautifully crafted card, and we were thrilled to be a part of this inspiring organization filled with a community of generous and loving people.
